1st Year

Explore study abroad opportunities at MSU. Psychology in Europe, MSU’s largest study abroad program, is led by a College of Education faculty member and offered three or four times annually.

2nd Year

Launch Your Career

1st Year

Explore the Career Center website and identify your Career Center liaison. Attend networking opportunities, meet with graduating students and build a LinkedIn presence.

2nd Year

Build and maintain a professional learning and user experience design portfolio. Meet with the Career Center to review resume and refine interview skills. Attend Career Center events, workshops and information sessions, including ones on professional dress and writing cover letters. Maintain LinkedIn presence and information.

3rd Year

Maintain a professional learning and user experience design portfolio. Search for internship opportunities (both face-to-face and remote) through on-campus recruiting events, the Career Center and other job search websites. Explore other ways to connect with learning and user experience design professionals. Develop an action plan for post-graduation goals. Participate in mock interviews. Maintain LinkedIn presence. 

4th Year

Finalize your professional learning and user experience design portfolio. Work with the Career Center on job searches, resume, interview skills, graduate school applications and tips for navigating job offers. Begin interviewing for full-time positions and/or graduate school.
