Hands-On Learning That Goes Beyond the Classroom
In International Business, you won’t just study global business, you’ll experience it. You’ll complete a minimum 10-week internship, either domestically or internationally, and a minimum six-week study abroad experience as part of your degree. Whether you choose an MSU faculty-led program, an exchange opportunity, or a custom experience built with support from your advisors and the Office of Study Abroad, you’ll gain first-hand perspective that strengthens your skills and broadens your view of the world. Past destinations have included Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Taiwan, Morocco, and South Africa.

Course Highlights
From day one, you will be exposed to global perspectives throughout your coursework. As part of the General Education Core, you will take courses that emphasize culture and the world around you, such as World History, World Literature, World Geography, and Cultural Anthropology. That international focus continues into your major coursework as well, with classes such as International Economics, International Marketing, and International Financial Management helping you build a strong foundation for working in a global economy.
