Paige Heimendinger of Nashville, TN, discovered her passion for Spanish at MSU, which led to studying abroad in Spain and building a life there. Now a high school English teacher in Madrid, she credits language learning with opening doors and changing the trajectory of her life. "I always tell my students that the point of learning a second language is communication. If you can communicate with someone, you have met your goal! Learning a language also takes time. Be patient and don’t give up!”
