Our introductory experience, IE 1313 Lean Work Systems, exposes students to thinking lean and minimizing waste. 

Industrial Engineering specifies our Social Sciences requirements as Psychology and Microeconomics because our graduates need to understand the people and money involved in the systems we optimize.

Keep an eye on your GPA. You need at least a 2.5 GPA to participate in our co-op and internship program, but many companies require a 3.0 or higher.

2nd Year

Take on more responsibilities within competition teams.

Research Internships and Co-ops. Students are eligible to co-op after successful completion of freshman year or one semester as a transfer student.

Meet with faculty to explore undergraduate research opportunities.

3rd Year

Seek leadership roles in competition teams.
